Custom Hobby Decals Australia was set up to provide Hobbyists and Wargamers with high-quality decals at an affordable price … including once-off ‘custom’ decals.

Over the course of 35+ years, Geoff has worked primarily in the IT industry, either directly and indirectly, with a broad range of experience that covers on-site tech support, system & network design, engineering & project management, sales, marketing, and product distribution & management.

Geoff had a ‘eureka’ moment during the Australian National N-Scale Convention in 2004 when it was suggested he could use his experience and wide range of skills to figure out how to digitally print waterslide decals. 

Since its inception, Custom Hobby Decals Australia has gone from strength to strength, evolving and adapting to technological advances.

“Due to the increased exposure and popularity of our decals, we began to extend our range from purely the custom decal service to providing off-the-shelf decals for Hobbyists. We now also provide OEM printing services for small-t0-medium manufacturers.” 

“In addition to waterslide media, we also print decals and the like on clear and white vinyl and have started to release additional stencil-based products.”

Since 2019 Decalbiz Pty Ltd. got a rock-solid support from Rajiv Vesmawala of India. Who played a pivotal role by taking over major Back-office functions of Decalbiz Pty Ltd viz; Designing, Operations, Customer & Order Management, Single Point of Contact with Customers. In 2022 this relationship became official when Rajiv Vesmawala through his company Anave Decal Services Pvt Ltd acquired a Majority stake of 53.85% in Decalbiz Pty Ltd. During most turbulent period of Covid Rajiv was instrumental in funding to keep the Decalbiz business on & handled operations of Decalbiz Pty Ltd from India. This were the trying times for both Geoff & his wife Sue as they were infected due to Covid outbreak in Australia and were hospitalized. 

Acquiring majority stake in Decalbiz Pty Ltd enabled both Geoff and Rajiv to develop India as a complete Decal outsourcing centre, wherein a full in-house team of Designers, print operators, Packing & Shipment executives, Back-office operators (covering Order Management, Customer Management, Inventory Management) was created, developed and established. Since 2022 till date majority of shipments of Decalbiz Pty Ltd have been shipped from India.

Again, in October, 2023 Geoff had to undergo hospitalization due to Covid infection, still operations of Decalbiz Pty Ltd continued to grow from India with a more experienced in-house team from India working over-time to fulfil all the Hobbyist requirements. 

Rajiv, with his 35 + years of IT & Business experience, has been instrumental in all the Complex, critical & demanding Decal business tasks & activities. 

With Rajiv on-board as a Strategic Investor & Active Board of Director, Decalbiz Pty Ltd has benefited immensely in all major business functions of company operations. His valued Global experience with some of the Big 5 Consulting firms like Accenture, PwC, he has been instrumental in Decalbiz business while covering entire Value chain of the operations like; Decal Designing, Print Production, and Pack & Shipment, Financial Management, Marketing & Sales, Business Growth Management to the global customer base whom he & Anave Decal Services Pvt Ltd has been serving for the past 4+ years. ADSPL have established an in-house pool of Graphic Designers, experienced Print operators, Back-office executives (looking after Customer management, Order management, Shipment management) in India.
